Playing Royal Lytham tomorrow

Clubs cleaned, even my shoes, I'm playing Royal Lytham tomorrow and want to look the part even if I do hack the place up. It's a Championship golf course similar to the one that humbled the world's greatest at the Open last week (Birkdale) so my chances of coming out alive are 50/50. So excited though, it's what golfers dream of playing a course like this. Working for a bank can be mundane but when you benefit from golfing junketts it makes it all worthwhile. Break 100 and I'll be cartwheeling around the clubhouse, I'll let you know.

Knocked it round in 82, well chuffed. Even notched a birdie (4th) but in fluky fashion with a sixty foot putt sank from off the green. Great day out, memorable.
